Sri Lalita Agni Moorthi
Prakasha Trust

About the Trust

What the Trust does, who runs it, and how to visit.

Our story

Sri Lalita Agni Moorthi Prakasha Trust was set up to do three things well: keep daily worship going without a break, perform homams the traditional way, and help people who need it.

Everything the Trust does, from the morning abhishekam to the monthly lunch, comes back to those three. It is run by its trustees and a small office, and supported by the offerings of devotees.

Our deity

The sanctum of Sri Lalitha Parameswari

The temple is dedicated to Sri Lalitha Parameswari , the Divine Mother, worshipped as the light of pure consciousness, and to Agni , the sacred fire that carries every offering to the gods.

The Trust's name, Agni Moorthi Prakasha , means the Divine shining in the form of fire. Daily worship here brings the two together: the lamp before the Mother, and the fire of the homam.

ॐ श्री मात्रे नमः

Om Śrī Mātre Namaḥ: I bow to the Divine Mother.
